About Felix Galvez

Felix was born and raised in Lima, Peru and moved to Dallas when he was 10 years old. An immigrant to the United States, he understands the daunting experience of navigating the immigration system. As a child in Peru, he was separated from his mother for two years due to the protracted visa backlog. This instilled in him a vocation to serve the immigrant community from an early age.

Felix has worked in the immigration and naturalization field since 2014 and has experience in all aspects of immigration law. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a paralegal for local immigration firms, managing family-based and removal defense cases. Felix obtained his Juris Doctor from UNT Dallas College of Law, where he was distinguished as an Advanced Legal Writing Fellow and awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Research. During law school, he clerked at a national corporate immigration firm, gaining experience in employment-based processes. He also volunteered at Catholic Charities of Dallas, where he represented children in obtaining Special Immigrant Juvenile status. 

Felix is a native Spanish speaker. In his spare time, he enjoys going on walks on the Katy Trail with his wife and son. An avid soccer fan, he religiously follows the Peruvian National Team.
